When most investors think of "under the radar" stocks, they generally believe those stocks are not well-known because they have small market caps. But Hilary Kramer, editor of GameChangerStocks.com, has come up with two stocks that are relatively unknown, but have market caps in the billions of dollars. A third stock is a small cap stock.

Among her picks is Optimer (OPTI) -- a small cap stock -- but one that is a potential takeover candidate by big pharmaceuticals. Optimer, says Kramer, has a drug that fights infections that patients often pick up while they are in the hospital.

Another stock Kramer recommends is Parexel International (PRXL),a contract research organization, which serves biotech and pharmaceutical companies by handling their marketing and drug trials. The company has made big inroads into China where this could be a $12 billion industry.

Kramer also says that Brookdale Senior Living (BKD) is a good buy. This is a play on nursing homes and patients with illnesses such as Alzheimer's. Only 10% of this company's reimbursements come from Medicare -- so it's really a private insurance play.

HEY NIKHIL! Your copyist misheard Kramer. OPTIMER'S SYMBOL IS OPTR, Not OPTI!! Your article is being indexed with a different, small, semiconductor licensing company that has nothing to do with pharmaceuticals or the health sector!! Please change this. This misled me. I invested in the other company, but fortunately caught my mistake and did not lose any money. Thanks. David Jongewaard

WTF? There is something very wrong with capitalistic health care. Now this company will make billions of dollars off infections people get because the hospital. Talk about a capitalistic win. No wonder they don't want to socialize medicine.

No, you don't understand. We want socialized medicine that would end this madness and get to business providing healthcare. The obstructionists in DC are twisting this into a bill that cannot and will not work and will make Obama fail as a president. The real victims, however are the American people. I am sorry that you understand neither Obama nr irony.

2 stitches and it cost more than $5000 at my local ER........is it any wonder that health insurance primiums keep going up with crap like this going on? BTW......I was also billed $600 by my doctor for a $7.35 blood test. Price controls are what we need in healthcare.....not mandated crap by our government which knows absolutly nothing about medicine anyway.

they should they all have huge straws stuck in our medicare and they're ******* the .... out of it? even my own provider which used to be so good has jumped on the wagon and have found ways to avoid paying any of the deductibles, they just won't pay them for any reason.. at the same time they like everyone else have created their own HMO and letting medicare finance it.

keep buying the meds and they will continue to make their RXs. people don't need to take meds if so for a brief period. the body can heal itself through diet, herbs, exercise, no tobacco and little alchohol consumption. the problem is people think they need it thus becoming dependent upon it.

FYI if the body could heal it self thru herbs and diet there would be no health care issue period

madmax...EXACTLY....but since most people don't eat a good diet, exercise & are void of environmental poisons, they aren't healthy. Then they turn to the wall street witch Drs that are SCAMMING the US with their overpriced, dangerous crap that is lucky to work even 30% of the time, only 10% of the time without causing MORE HEALTH PROBLEMS..... universal healthcare in the US will destroy us within 10 years...the american public aren't healthy enough to handle a universal system & our drug companies/hospitals/Drs are too corrupt to prescribe effectively.
