Black Friday 2010 Freebies: Smart Phones, Coffee, Ornaments and More

Black Friday 2010 Freebies and dealsThere are so many Friday Freebies on Black Friday 2010, it's enough to make you ditch your relatives and shop. From free smart phones, to tote bags, breakfast to software, retailers are enticing would-be customers with everything under the sun.

Here are some of the goodies you can get:Amazon: Get an MP3 credit worth $3 for free when you use coupon code GET3MP3S.

AT&T Penny Sale: Refurbished devices are one penny for 24 hours starting Saturday, Nov. 27 at 12:01 a.m. EST. Pick up a BlackBerry Torch for one cent! Then on Sunday, Nov. 28 starting at 12:01 a.m. EST, Quick Messaging Phones – like the Pantech Link, LG Vu Plus, Sharp FX and the Pantech Pursuit - are free. On Monday, Nov. 29 at 12:01 a.m, the penny sale returns but this time for smartphones. Every three hours the penny smartphone will rotate, requiring repeated vigilance. The HTC Aria, BlackBerry Curve 3G, Motorola FLIPOUT, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 and the Motorola BRAVO will take shifts selling for one cent. These prices require a new two-year agreement. Some restrictions. Full details here on AT&T's Black Friday weekend freebies.

Beall's: Starting at 4 a.m. Friday, Beall's is giving away 150 free ornaments to the first shoppers. One ornament per person. The ornament depicted in Beall's Black Friday ad is of a flamingo with a Santa hat kicking back in a beach chair.

BJ's Warehouse Club: Take advantage of their free 60-day membership coupon that is valid if you activate the membership before Dec. 31, 2010.

Burger King: Black Friday is the last day in which you can pick up free coffee from Burger King.

Costco Early shoppers will be rewarded with a free copy of Cooking the Costco Way, though it's unclear just how many copies of the free cookbook will be on hand at each warehouse store.

Dunkin Donuts: Free coffee samples will be available Nov. 26 and 27 at select malls in California, Michigan, Texas, Oregon and Wisconsin.

Half Price Books: The first 100 customers on Nov. 26 get a free tote bag and a $5 gift card. One lucky reader will get a $100 gift card. From 7 to 10 a.m. almost everything is 20% off. Spend $30 or more and get a free calender.

Ikea: Munch on a free breakfast at Ikea on Nov. 26 through 28 during breakfast hours (I'm assuming that means the freebie ends at 11 a.m. or noon). You get a small breakfast and a cup of coffee, which have a total value of $1.98. One per person.

JCPenney: Some of the hottest clothing sales on Black Friday are happening at JCPenney's, which is continuing its tradition of giving out free Disney snowglobes to the earliest shoppers. It's unclear just how many free globes will be on hand, but I'm guessing a few hundred at each store. Watch the clock carefully, though, as doorbuster deals last 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. only and many will sell out before then. Specials include a one-carat diamond ring for $80 and any size down comforter for $40.

Jo-Ann Fabrics: Be one of the first 100 people in the store on Nov. 26 and you'll get a free pair of 8-inch Durasharp scissors.

Office Depot: Four software programs are free on Nov. 26-27, 2010 while supplies last, including PhotoImpact Pro, Smith Micro Digital TV or PC 2, MoviePlus X3, and Print Artist Platinum 23. Plus, use this Office Depot coupon to get free shredding for up to 5 pounds of documents (approximately 500 sheets of paper). Expires Jan. 8, 2011.

Quick Chek: Get a free medium cup of coffee at Quick Chek starting at 12:01 a.m. on Nov. 26 and going through 11:30 p.m.

REI: The first 150 shoppers in the door will get a $20 REI gift card, according to my WalletPop colleague Abigail Wise. Stores open at 8 a.m.

Sam's Club: Along with the warehouse club's Black Friday sales, members can scoop up a free hot breakfast, including egg sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and coffee from 5-10 a.m. on Nov. 26, 2010. There are rumors that if you sign up for a membership or upgrade an existing one on Black Friday, you will get a $25 Sam's Club gift card. Unconfirmed.

7-Eleven: Grab a free small Slurpee at 7-Eleven on Nov. 26 when you print out a coupon from their Facebook page. The coupon will not be available until Nov. 26, however.

Snapfish: Get free shipping with coupon code BFFSSW26.

Staples: From 6 a.m. to noon on Nov. 26 get a free 50-pack of HP photo paper while supplies last. There are five free-with-rebate items, including a GE four-device universal remote and four types of anti-virus and Internet security software.

Toys R Us: Get a free 64-count box of Crayola crayons and a coloring book with any purchase starting at 10 p.m. on Thursday and ending at 1 p.m. Friday. While supplies last.
