Macys carafe recallA stainless steel carafe sold at Macy's stores and on the retailer's website has been recalled because the handle can come loose and cause a spill, putting consumers in danger of getting burned, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission.

So far, no injuries have been reported, the CPSC said. Consumers should stop using the Kitchentrend Stainless Steel Carafe and return it to the store for a full refund.About 36,000 of the carafes were sold at Macy's between September 2010 and October 2010 for about $20 each. The recalled one-liter, glass-lined carafe has the model number P0930-X02 and has a chrome-plated plastic top with a black plastic base. The model number can be found on its packaging.
