Electrolux Home Products, which manufactures both brands, said it had received 70 reports of incidents involving the stoves, including three fires with property damage. Three consumers reported suffering burns.
The CPSC said the defect stems from liquid pooling under control knobs, which can lead to the heating elements turning on without being turned on, go to the wrong temperature or not turn off.

Model and serial numbers for the ranges are inside the oven door on the left side. They are on the underside surface on the cooktops models.
