Goldman Sachs (GS) poached a top banker from the London office of Swiss bank UBS (UBS), The Financial Times reported.
Philip Shelley, co-head of corporate broking at UBS, will make the move to Goldman later this year, The Financial Times reported without naming its sources.
Corporate broking involves a bank acting as a point of contact between a company and its investors.
Shelley has been at UBS for 15 years and had built up a rolodex of clients including BAE Systems and L&G.
Goldman Sachs and UBS both declined to comment to the Financial Times.
