Earn cash rebates with Ebates

If you buy anything online, make sure to use Ebates or you are leaving cash on the table. This week is a better week than most to join because the site has pumped up many of the rebates you earn. Shop through Ebates and you'll earn a percentage of your total purchase back in cash. A few special rates this week:

• 5% back at Eddie Bauer, up from 3%
• 10% back at Champion, up from 5%
• 5% back at Macy's, up from 2.5%
• 5.5% back at Campmor, up from 3.5%
• 8% back at Hanes, up from 4%
• 4% back at Sears, up from 2%

This cash back is in addition to any coupons you use. So really, it's a way to "stack" discounts to get the absolute lowest price. After you log in to Ebates, click on the retailer you're interested in. Then Ebates tracks your shopping and sends you a check about 90 days later. The lag is the only downside I've found to using Ebates. You get a $5 bonus for signing up, though I believe you have to make a purchase within 30 days to get the money.
