The Federal Govt and its massive spending and debt is dwarfing the private sector. It is choking any potential growth in the private sector. Most of the "stimulus" was nothing other than bailouts for political friends and bankrupt state governments that have become nothing more than "bloated political machines". Any attempt to put or keep more money in the private sector will help the economy and perhaps show that the govt is actually attempting to create more jobs. Extending tax cuts is a start......but we still have to wait and see what the long term policies are.
