In a Wall Street Journal article, an LG Electronics mobile handset marketing executive said the company's Optimus tablet will feature capabilities such as document creation and video editing, as well as the ability to create programs. The executive went on to take a poke at Apple's device, saying that he doesn't find his iPad all that useful for work.
The LG Optimus tablet is slated for release by the end of the fourth quarter, in time to face competition from a number of other tablet makers aiming to capture some of the holiday shopping market.
