Friday Freebies: free portrait, back-to-school deals, $10 voucher for The Limited

I'm excited about this week's freebies because I plan to take advantage of so many of them, from free back to school deals (read: office supplies) to 250 free business cards and a $10 voucher that can be used on almost anything at The Limited. What more do you need to get your weekend started?

Get a free 8" x 10" picture of your kid or dog or other loved one with this Target coupon, which expires August 1, 2010. Make sure to bring the coupon with you to get the deal. There are no sitting fees with the coupon. The above coupon also gets you a traditional portrait sheet for $4 or a traditional portrait package for $8. The latter includes:
  • 1 -- 8 x 10
  • 2 -- 5 x 7s
  • 4 -- 3 1/2 x 5s
  • 16 wallets
Caveats: not valid on reorders, enhanced products, studio events, media, services or online orders. One per family.

Retailers are unrolling fabulous back to school deals with a ton of free and almost-free products. If you don't have any school-aged children at home, why not stock up your home office? Here are all the deals I've found at Walgreens.
*2-pocket folders are 9 cents

*2-pack of erases, 29 cents
*5-pack of highlighters, 49 cents

There are more back-to-school deals and freebies at Office Depot, Staples, and Target.

Get a free 30-day trial of Sirius Satellite radio when you sign up with your credit card for a monthly plan. You can cancel on the 29th day with no penalty or extra charges, or if you want to keep the radio service, Sirius will charge you the going monthly rate currently $12.95. If you forget and cancel a day late, you pay for the whole month, so make a note in your calender to be prompt. This offer is for new subscribers only. Sirius has more than 120 channels, and you can also listen online or on your smart phone.

Vista Print has another offer for 250 free business cards when you pay $5.67 for shipping. That ends up costing 2 cents a card. You can choose from 45 designs and enter your own text. Expires Sunday, July 25, 2010. There are lots of options to upgrade for a fee, however. Want the backside to have an appointment reminder? Hand over $4.50. Want 100% recycled paper? That's $15. Want a premium design? That's another $4. Side step these additional offers and you've got a nice deal on your hands.Get more details on this freebie.

Here's a great deal at The Limited for anyone who has been fashion starved. Stop in and pick up a $10 Fashion Cash pass that can be used toward future purchases. Sale and clearance items may be excluded, but look at the accessories, jewelry, tank tops, and other low-priced items to get something for free or at a ridiculous discount. Expires Sunday, July 25, 2010. This offer has been circulating via e-mail so call your local store to see if they are participating. Valid in stores only. If a salesperson doesn't run over to offer you a Fashion Cash pass, ask nicely if they are giving them out.
