DirecTV (DTV) customers who were planning to kick back on the couch to go channel surfing Tuesday morning were in for a rude awakening. A mysterious glitch caused high-definition recorders to get stuck on one channel.
As a result, the company's customer service lines have been ringing off the hook. Angry users also took to social media sites like Twitter to vent and to seek answers from the company.
In a statement, DirecTV said "We are aware of the issues that may be affecting some of our HD DVRs and are currently working to identify the problem and provide our customers with a resolution. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may be causing."
If you're affected, here are digits to call: 800-531-5000.
