Google's (GOOG) stock is still a strong buy even after Apple (AAPL) unveiled the iPhone 4, Standard & Poor's analyst Scott Kessler told clients Tuesday, saying the Internet giant's search prowess, advertising technology and partnerships, brands and Android mobile operating system are significant competitive advantages.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs predicted his company would account for nearly half of the mobile advertising market in the second half of 2010, Kessler wrote. "Nonetheless, we think Google is poised to capture significant share and revenue in the mobile advertising market, especially following the recent purchase of AdMob," the analyst said.
