Friday freebies: free pedometer, free rubber stamp, free customized pen

This week's freebies cater to needs at home and at the office. Look below for a bottle of free shampoo, free bladder pads, and a free pedometer. For your business needs, check out the deal for a free rubber stamp and a free pen printed with your business contact information. I also shared a sneak peak coming Tuesday for free ice cream. Yup, that's right!

First the home deals:

Snag a free pedometer when you sign up for the e-mail list of vitamin-maker Nature's Bounty. Joining means sharing your name, e-mail, birthday, and address. You also have to answer one question about where you normally buy vitamin supplements. You must opt into the e-mail list and agree to receive news about promotions and deals to get the freebie, but you can unsubscribe later if you don't like being on the list. You can also get a $2 off vitamin coupon for registering for the free Healthy Rewards program. The sign up form is similar to the one for the freebie.

One out of three women have leaky bladders, according to the makers of a super absorbent pad called Poise. One Poise pad is as absorbent as three period pads, the manufacturer claims. Hmmm ... I wonder if these pads would work for heavy flow days. Either way, you can get a free sample of Poise pads when you share your name, address, email, date of birth and gender (I'm assuming it will be mostly women who want this freebie). Samples are limited and it's unclear how long supplies of this freebie will last. If you sign up, the sample will arrive 6 to 8 weeks later.

Get a free sample of Arm & Hammer Advance White toothpaste when you fill out a simple form. Be prepared to share your name, address, email, and answer two questions about your toothpaste habits. Easy-peasy! You can opt in or out of the Arm & Hammer mailing list, and decline or accept its offer to provide feedback about the sample. After you submit the form, you should receive an e-mail from Arm & Hammer confirming your email address. You must open and click on the link in this email to complete the free sample sign up process. I got my confirmation e-mail almost immediately.

Now for the office deals:

Get a free rubber stamp from Vista Print when you pay a few bucks for shipping. You can use the self-inking stamps for business or personal use. Choose from 18 designs, including various address fonts or stamps that say "PAID," "COPY," "FAX," and "THANK YOU." Expect lots of opportunities to purchase business supplies like address labels, key chains, and business cards. Shipping starts at $6.31. To get this and other details click here.

This deal for a free pen won't last. Get your business card printed on a pen by a company that wants to change the way people share their work information. National Pen Co., which is offering the freebie, prints your business card directly onto its contour pen, including any logos or colors that appear on your card. Start by scanning your business card, then upload the image to their page. Share your name, e-mail, phone number, company name and mailing address. If you do not have a scanned image of your business card, mail a business card to: Business Card Division, National Pen Co., P.O. Box 189, Shelbyville, TN 37162-0189. Include a note about the free business card pen giveaway.

Sneak peak
:

This Tuesday, get a free ice cream cone at Haagen-Dazs shops between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m to celebrate the chain's 50th birthday. I'll post a reminder on WalletPop in case your forget. Wouldn't want anyone to miss free ice cream!

Ending soon:

Don't forget Starbucks' half-price frappuccino deal ends this Sunday, May 16. Everyday this deal is on from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
