Stock futures point to a lower open with housing, durable goods data on tap

U.S. stocks are poised to fall at the open of trading Wednesday morning after three straight days of losses due mostly to mixed economic data and some earnings disappointments. Today is yet another busy day of earnings and economic releases, including durable goods orders and new home sales.
