Most of the people they polled were men - of course they cant tell the difference! i agree on saving on mascara and maybe the blush but i have a drawer full of useless drugstore eyeshadow that i never use because it just doesn't have the high pigment color and longevity of high end shadow. also, i think the twins needed better lighting it was hard to tell on the video when they were still in the studio.

hey there, just a tip, i buy drug store brand, and high end eye shadow, the trick to make them LOOK high pigmented (the cheaper brands that is) is to apply a cream conclearer to your entire eyelid, and then dab on with the sponge applicator blending where you feel you need it. Trust me those low ends will amaze you!! but i agree with everything else you said =]

and what i mean by cream is like the concealer that comes in something that looks like a lipstick tube that you can blend by finger, and by sponge applicator i mean the simple little applicators that come with the eye shadow

I could tell...the lipstick was more smoother and natural..the foundation a natural-er color..the blush more subtle.
