Get your free comic during Free Comic Book Day May 2

It's that time of year again; when the birds start chirping, the trees get a little greener and young minds turn to thoughts of...comic books. For the 7th year thousands of independent book and comic book stores will participate in Free Comic Book Day across America.

On Saturday you can go into your favorite local comic book shop and pick up a free comic book. There are an amazing number of participating locations and finding the one closest to you is as simple as entering your zip code in the Free Comic Book Day Locator. Some stores will be holding comic book signings and other special events to celebrate Free Comic Book Day.

The selection of freebies and the number of comic books you can get free will vary by location, and how fast you get there, but there are 40 free titles with something for every age and interest.
