She makes some great points that fly in the face of the conventional wisdom we're hearing in the media right now. You can watch the video for the details, but Corcoran makes these points: Sellers are not desperate, you shouldn't try to wait for prices to stop falling before you buy, it is possible to get a mortgage with less than 20% down, it's not a bad time to sell a house, and shopping around for a better mortgage rate when you refinance is probably not worth the aggravation.
