If you're lucky enough to be one of the first 9 customers at either of the two new 99 Cent Only stores opening on June 19th, you'll be able to buy an i-Pod Nano for 99 cents. Sweet! The next 99 customers will be able to buy a scooter for 99 cents. There are currently 262 - 99 Cent Only stores in the U.S. with locations in California, Nevada, Arizona and Texas. The two newest stores will be opening this month in Berkeley, CA and San Antonio, TX. The 99 Cent Only website has lots of good information on it, including an online flyer. This is the first dollar store I know of with prices 99 cents or less on fresh produce and frozen foods as well as housewares and other grocery items. There's a lot of brand name stuff here if you're lucky enough to live near one of these stores.
